Flowers As Brushes

Some activities we plan and others just happen naturally, like this one. Sometimes that is the best way and often times for me it's the only way... to just fly by the seat of my pants. I'm not the most regimented person which is why I can relate to the wild nature of my kids.

Our craft today was my daughter Hopes brilliant idea! Instead of painting with brushes she decided we should paint with flowers! We had some wildflowers in the kitchen we had picked a few days before and instead of throwing them out we used them to paint. We gently placed the tops of the flowers onto a plate of paint and dapped them onto the canvas. The paintings turned out great and it was lots of fun, I highly suggest it!
